Connor now endorsed by 15 Chairs, 7 Executive Committeemen
COLUMBIA, SC – The Bill Connor for Lieutenant Governor campaign today announced that four more Republican Party County Chairs and three Executive Committeemen have endorsed Bill’s campaign to be South Carolina’s next conservative Lieutenant Governor. This means fully one-third of the state’s County GOP Chairs have now endorsed Bill’s campaign.
“It’s clear that conservatives around our state see the need for an outside perspective in Columbia, not just the same old professional politicians,” said Connor. “Our campaign of restrained government, lower taxes, and a dedication to core conservative values clearly continues to resonate with Republican leaders across our state.”
Following Lowcountry traditions, Bill Connor is proud of his South Carolina heritage. He comes from a long line of distinguished military service. His father was a West Point graduate who was stationed in Hawaii when Bill was born in the mid-60s. Being an “Army brat” meant the Connor family moved a lot, both here and abroad. The one constant in Bill’s life was visiting his grandparents in Charleston, where his grandmother told him about “family” and his grandfather told him about his proud military legacy.
