Had a wonderful time with my fellow Christian School Board members (from throughout the state) at the annual SCACS Legislative breakfast. What a great presentation to legislators in the Blatt Bldg about the Christian roots of education in America. After more meetings in Columbia, went to Sun City for our Lt. Governor’s forum. Normal speeches and discussions, but one point of disagreement: I believe tax hikes are never the right answer (whether voted in by council/legislature or pushed onto voters by referendum). As President Reagan used to say “More government is not the answer to the problem, more government is the problem.”

Getting ready for military drill this weekend.
