Spent the morning with Leaders of the State Guard and other associated Midlands business leaders. Attended the candidate announcement of my Afghanistan commander, General Bob Livingston, at the Veterans’ Memorial. Saw others who served with us during that deployment.

Then we went up to Greenville to greet folks at the State Superitendent of Education debate.  While I still believe that position should be appointed, (just as the Lt. Governor should be on a ticket with the Governor) it’s encouraging to see such good Republican candidates for that office.
